Resourcing Pastors with Little or No Theological Training in 40 Countries

User-added image

Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) plays a key role in resourcing the church in Africa with theological training and materials. They have been involved in purchasing and distributing the ASB to key leaders in Africa, a key resource in this endeavour.
However, considering that 85-90% of pastors and church leaders in Africa have little to no biblical training, AEA is seeking to scale up the theological and biblical training of these leaders.

AEA seeks to empower the church leaders in the 40 countries under its umbrella by training the heads of the 40 National Evangelical Fellowships (NEFs) and partnering with them in their efforts to empower and train the thousands of church pastors and leaders under each NEF.

300 Africa Study Bibles will go to these leaders along with other strategic church leaders participating in the AEA Theological Consultation in Nairobi, Kenya from September 8-13, 2019.

Funding Needs
In order to meet this need, $6000 is needed to supply Africa Study Bibles to the 300 strategic church leaders participating at this Theological Consultation.
