Supporting the CLC is your company's statement that you care about protecting the Chocorua Lake Basin and providing convenient, attractive lake access to local residents and visitors.
You and your customers value the scenic beauty and natural resources of our region. It is why we live, work, and visit here. And it is why tens of thousands of tourists visit this area every year. Thousands of those tourists and local residents stop at Chocorua Lake to take a photo at the Narrows Bridge, or visit land owned and managed by the CLC. They appreciate the CLC’s work to preserve and protect the beauty of this region.
The CLC will promote your business in our twice-yearly newsletter, on our website, and at the two information kiosks that we manage at Chocorua Lake which are seen by thousands of visitors annually. By becoming a CLC Business Partner, you will align your interest in preserving the scenic beauty of this region with your commitment to promoting your own business.
Business partnerships are 12 months (July 1 to June 30) and must be renewed annually.

How will my Business Partner donation be used?
Chocorua Lake Conservancy depends upon the financial support of its members and business partners to fund many annual expenses, including:
- Maintenance of almost 1,000 acres of conservation land around Chocorua Lake owned or managed by the CLC.
- Monitoring of 3,000 additional acres in the Chocorua Lake Basin which are protected from commercial development by conservation easements and covenants held by the CLC.
- New plantings and annual maintenance projects to preserve the natural beauty of 17 acres of publicly accessible land around Chocorua Lake, reduce erosion, and prevent nutrient and sediment runoff into the lake.
- A twice daily Lake Patrol from May through October to keep the Grove, Island, and other public access areas free of trash.
- Regular samplings of lake water quality.
- Toilets in the Grove and Island public access areas between Memorial Day and Columbus Day.
- Maintenance and periodic replacement of the historic wooden railings on the Narrows Bridge.
- Maintenance and repairs of the dam at the outlet from the Little Lake to the Chocorua River.
The CLC is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Code of the United States (EIN 02-0277083). All business partner contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
